Job description:
This involves conducting regular inspections and tests to verify adherence to industry standards and local fire codes. You will also identify and document any system deficiencies or code violations, ensuring the safety and security of our clients’ facilities through timely and accurate inspection reports.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Perform regular inspections, testing, and replacement of fire extinguishers to ensure they are fully operational and ready to use.
• Provide comprehensive services for fire alarm systems, including installation, testing, monitoring, and maintenance to deliver reliable early fire detection.
• Regularly inspect, test, and maintain sprinkler systems to ensure their effectiveness in suppressing fires.
• Ensure the proper functionality of emergency and exit lights by conducting regular inspections and replacing faulty units.
• Design, install, and maintain specialized kitchen fire suppression systems to protect against grease fires.
• Provide comprehensive employee training on fire prevention, evacuation procedures, and the proper use of fire extinguishers.
Job Requirements:
• High School Diploma/GED
• NICET licensing or other fire certifications
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to be available on call when scheduled
• Fire licenses may be required based on state or local regulations
• 3+ years’ experience performing Inspections, Testing, and Maintenance (ITM) of Fire Alarm and/or Fire Life Safety Systems
